How to Set up or Enable Two Factor Authentication on TWITCH

  1. Go or login to your account with normal information https://www.twitch.tv/
  2. Go to the security settings page from your account.
  3. Choose Enable TwoFactor Authentication.
  4. Put your Twitch password.
  5. Put your phone number.
  6. Put verification code you get through text message or Authy app (this is for those who are already an Authy).

How to Disable Two Factor Authentication on TWITCH

  1. Go to twitch.tv.
  2. Tap on your profile picture.
  3. Tap on the Settings drop-down menu.
  4. Tap on Security and Privacy.
  5. Go to the “Security” section.
  6. Tap on  Disable twofactor authentication.
  7. Please know that a confirmation request will be shown.

How to Install Authy For IOS

  1. The first thing to do is download and install the Authy app from the App Store on iOS Device.
  2. You can now launch the Authy app.
  3. The app will now launch with  Set-Up screen.
  4. Put your country code, phone number including Twitch email.
  5. Choose how you would like to get your token: SMS or Phone Call.
  6. If you are prompted to, verify or clarify your identity by requesting from the Authy device you’re currently using.
  7. Then you should now see “Twitch” in the Authy app down the 2FA accounts.

How to Install Authy For Android

  1. Download and install the Authy app from the App Store on your available Android Device.

  4. Choose how you would get your token: SMS or Phone Call.
  5. If you are been prompted, verify or clarify your identity by demanding from another Authy device you’re using.
  6. You can now view “Twitch” in the Authy app down your 2FA accounts.
  7. Approved Additional Step: Just move to Settings and set up Master Password, this is to make sure only you can generate or create tokens for such Authy accounts if you are using on Desktop.
